Hey, thanks for posting this show. What a pleasure! They sound great.

Overall the sound quality of this show is phenomenal! On some tracks there's a little static that was perhaps the mic getting knocked over or the amps getting overpowered...but this is a great recording.

I really loved the way Kimock interacts with Vega. They were great together. This is a quality example of why.

The two guitars have really distinct sounds so you can really hear Steve and Mitch going at it. It's great.

Definitely worth the download.

This is a great show. The crowd was small and the Beartooth was a great atmosphere for the band to perform in Alaska. It is unfortunate that the venue lost money due to the poor attendance, but the sound was fantastic. This recording was from on stage Neumann microphones and is excellent sonically. The Cole's Law started very mellow and goes for a few minutes before the majority of the folks realize the "show" has started. Soon the guys are just jamming. Out of the approximately hundred shows I have attended and have recordings of this is my personal favorite. The end of the Steve Kimiock and Bobby Vega era was quite near, but there was no sign of any problems when they played in Alaska. The band looked like they really enjoyed their trip to Alaska and the music reflects their mood. The audience was impressed although most in attendance were not that familiar with Kimock's music.
Highly recommended.
